Tres acordes y una nube de polvo…The sonic beat explosion tocan High energy rock and soul , influenciados por los años 60 y 70. Su sonido esta inspirado en las Leyendas de Detroit como MC5, The Stoogues, y grand Funk Railroad. Además de estas raíces músicales , ellos han creado su propio y moderno sonido retro.
En el escenario notamos como estan al 101% del nombre de la banda y como quedaras electrificado por su directo. Con Corazón y con alma, poco impresionado y contra todo pronostico, ellos llevaran su mision de electrificar y despertar el rock and soul a tod@s l@s mortales que se atrevan a escucharles.
Tras su anterior album «Sister Psychosis», editaron nuevo album con el ya sello pata negra Gosth highway recordings, «Electrophonic soul», sin desperdicio. En mayo de 2019 editaron su cuarto álbum “RUCKUS”, en el espíritu de tu corazón y tu alma, El ritmo claramente avanza…!!! Solo usaron los mejores ingredientes …Una gran cantidad de rock de garaje, una buena porción de alma aspera, y finalmente una fina brisa de Fuzz. 10 temazos en las que seguramente le hubieran encantado al buen Fred Smith. Para la mezcla esta vez, el sueco Stefan Bornan podría estar comprometido. El que también ha presionado los controles para bandas como Graveyard y Hellacopters.. Pero señoras y señores estar muy atent@s porque ,Sonic Beat Explosion, no dejan que nada se queme y son todo menos un lavado suave…

…Pure Motorcity action rock in the style of the late 60s/early 70s is played by Sonic Beat Explosion. Since 2006, «Ruckus» is the fourth album of the band, which you won’t hear for a second that they come from Altenburg in Thuringia. The ten songs were pressed in plain black vinyl – but that’s exactly the format they belong on.

For their fourth album «Ruckus», Sonic Beat Explosion have not only added a notch to the compositional style of their predecessor, but also pulled out all the stops when they hired Stefan Boman for the mix in Stockholm’s Polar Studios (the ABBA Studio) and had the album mastered there. The result is a perfect sound and also the term High-Energy Rock`n Soul describes still quite perfectly what the four guys from Altenburg have to offer, as they are still clearly from Detroit Rock of the seventies, which they mix with soulful parts (great vocals!), but also psychedelic guitar solos. Could the opener «Yesterdays News» with its creaky bass and vocal harmonies still easily fit onto THE HELLACOPTERS’ album «By the grace of god», they distance themselves from the Stockholmers with «21st century lie» and indulge in rather slightly psychedelic sounds with proper wah-wah descents and passionate vocals, which are carried to extremes in the groovy «Rabacal». The rest of the songs keep this level relaxed, whereas «Disillusion Street» has to be pointed out, which is almost hypnotic and surely is a highlight live. SONIC BEAT EXPLOSION deserve the growing international attention. 9 of 10
